The Macro-Arthropods ol Misurata were surveyed between 1991-1994; and their seasonal variations were discussed.

The fauna was dominated by insects particularly tenebl'ionid beetles.

The climate was ol' the typical Mediterranean type.

But many of the desei’t Arthropods were encountered.

Tlie land of Misurata was l'lat.

The soil was ol' the lo؛rmy type, which was frequently enriched with hnmns.

Many plants were recorded.
