Abstract EN

This article describes the experience of Al-Qasimi members in an online conference.

One of the main aims of this conference was to enhance the lecturers' motivation for using new information and communication technology (ICT) in their courses.

The conference was based on unfamiliar technologies for the staff, namely videoconference, synchronous and a-synchronous Internet communication.

The content is considered as a loaded theme under the current political situation in Israel; multiculturalism.

The results show that a collective experience to faculty members with a relevant content motivates them to overcome the technology obstacle
