- نفذ البحث في مركز البحوث العلمية الزراعية بالرقة في موقع سد البعث، وفق تصميم القطاعات العشوائية الكاملة بثلاثة مكررات، خلال الأعوام 2007, و 2008, و2009 بهدف الحصول على هجن جديدة من الخيار، ذات مواصفات شكلية و تسويقية جيدة، و دراسة قوة الهجين، و تحديد المقدرة العامة و الخاصة على التوافق. أظهر الهجين (عنجريني2 × برنس) قوة هجين قياسا على متوسط الأبوين بلغت %13.9 و على أفضل أب (%11.4) لصفة طول الثمرة دالة على وجود ظاهرة السيادة الجزئية و الفائقة، و بلغت قوة الهجين في الهجين (بابيلون × برنس) قياسا على متوسط الأبوين لصفتي قطر الثمرة و دليل شكلها 26.35- و %39.69 على التوالي وقياسا على أفضل الأبوين لتلك الصفتين (17.14- و %18.4).
و تميز الأب (برنس) بمقدرة عامة على التوافق عالية المعنوية لمعظم الصفات الشكلية، في حين تميزت الآباء عنجريني (1, 2, 3) بمقدرة عامة على التوافق عالية المعنوية لصفتي عرض الورقة و طول النبات، و أظهر الهجين (عنجريني 4 × كوندور) مقدرة خاصة على التوافق عالية المعنوية لمعظم الصفات الشكلية المدروسة.
Abstract EN
A Field experiment was conducted in the Scientific Agricultural Research Center of Al-Ba’ath dam during 2007, 2008 and 2009 cropping seasons, using the complete randomized block design with three replications, in order to get some new cucumber hybrids with good marketing and morphological traits, and high heterosis compared to mid and best parents, determining the best parental combinations through estimating the effect of general and specific combining ability of the studied traits.
Results indicated significant heterosis was detected for fruit length in (A2 x Prince) hybrid (13.9 %) comppared to mid parents and 11.4 % to the best parent.
The Pabylon x Prince hybrid showed significant heterosis for fruit diameter and length /diameter traits compared to mid parents (-26.4%), (39.7%), and to best parent (-17.1%), (18.4%) respectively.
The Prince parent had high and significant effects of general combining ability on most morphological traits, whereas the parents (A1, A2 and A3) showed high significant general combining ability for leaf’s width and plant high traits only.
The (A4 x condor) hybrid had high significant specific combining ability on the most of the studied traits.
