Abstract EN

The judge and the poet Nasih AL-deen Abu Bakr Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Al-hussein Al-arjani was born in Arjan, town located in the region of Persia in ( 460 A.H .

).

He is a prominent poet among the poets of Persia during ithe 5 th and 6 th century after Hejra.

He practiced judicial authorities in Arjan, Taster and Askar Makram in the name of the judge of Khuzestan.

He was a contemporary of the poets of his time like (Al-beiwardi, Al-taghra'I ands Al-Ghizi) and he was influenced by Almutanabi, the poet.

It was said that he died in Taster or in Askar makram in ( 544 A.H .

), his age approached (84 ) years .

After reading the poet's poems, it is obvious that he uses place too much which indicates his longing to these places (the ruins-the mountain).

The ruins is well-known in the poetry of Arabs.

In this research, we have introduced a concept of place in terms of linguistic and terminology plus studying the significance of place in the literary studies, then we analyzed the verses where the (ruins-the mountain) were mentioned and explained the effect of place on the poet.
