Abstract EN

The correlation factors between successive least- squares residual s? anomalies from a buried sphere and a two- dimenshional (2- D) horizon-tal cylinder are computed.

Correlation values are used to determine the depth to the center of the buried structure and the polarization angle.

The method is very easy and may be automated if desired.

The method is in-dependent of regional.

The procedure of interpretation is shown with one field example from Turkey.
