Abstract EN

Non-typhoid salmonella bacteremia may result in extra gastrointestinal localization of infection.

Aortitis due to non-typhoid salmonella was reported to be the cause of 38-42.5% of all infected abdominal aortitis.

Underlying atherosclerosis is a frequent site for salmonella aortitis.

We describe here a case of possible salmonella aortitis in a renal transplant patient.
