Rosai-dorfman diseaes in pediatric age group

Rosai-Dorfman disease is a rare benign disorder, first described by Rosai and Dorfman in 1%9.

Tin- classic presentation is massive bilateral enlargement of cervical lymph nodes, although lymph nodes in other areas and also intranodal involvement are also reported.

Associated disorders such as immune hemolytic anemia may he present.

In this article the frequency, clinical and paraclinical findings of this disorder in pediatric age group during a Ill-year period < 1991-2(100) are assessed.

We found four eases of Rosai- Dorfman disease diagnosed by lymph node biopsy among 450 lymph node biopsies done in our center.
