The lumbrical muscles were studied in dissections of 68 hands and forearm regions taken from 34 adult cadavers of both sexes aged between 40 to 70 years.
Their attachments form and component parts were ascertained.
The distribution patterns of the muscular branch of median and ulnar nerves were studied in detail.
