We evaluated 205 patients with diagnosis of migraine headache based on the criteria developed by the international headache society (HIS).
14 patients (6.8 %) developed epileptic seizures (ES).
In this group, sex ratio, type of migraine headache and epileptic seizures, electroencephalograms, and temporal relation between seizures and migraine episodes were investigated.
Male to female ratio was higher inpatients with seizures than those with migraine headaches alone.
Migraine with typical aura was observed in 85.7 % of the 14 patients with migraine and seizures.

78.5 % suffered generalized tonic clonic convulsions and 21.5 % had partial seizures.
