Abstract EN

This article is interested in the analysis of Arab Women status through analyzing the case of Egyptian women in particular .

The article looks to women status in general as an integrated part of the society as a whole; and considers that the Arab women suffers from a real discrimination in the society as clearly manifested in several laws.

The analysis also suggests that the problems faee Arab women in general are similar and that discrimination against Arab women (including the Egyptian woman) continues in spite of the considerable improvement in their constitutional and legal status in the previous decades.

The article ends with a call for more analysis of other case studies.
