Ilimplies a brief rwiew for its history throughout the ages since its submission to the eastern Romans Quoot and Beezantians.

Then, Islamic conquer of it in the age of Al-Aghaliba′s period in the year 212 B.A/827 A.D.

And the succession of Al-fatamians period till the occupation of Al-Norman in the year 484 A.H.

The paper discloses its role and its participation in second, third, fifth, sixth and seventh Crusader Campaign againet Muslims in Syria and Eygept through presenting material and human helps and equipments for many Crusals being a military base from which the European armies set aiming at occupying Islamic lands and hurt their religious saeredments and controlling their conomic capacities, in addition to its diplomatic and marine support for the Crusader Kingdom in Bay Al-maqdis in palstin.
