Abstract EN

Trials to induce protection against Eimeria stiedae in rabbits were carried out.

Three methods for immunization were tested.

The first group was immunized by virulent E.

stiedae, the 2nd and 3rd.

groups were immunized with irradiated E.

Stiedae sporulated oocysts with two irradiation doses (12 and 20 Krd respectively).

The best protection was achieved after immunization with virulent E.

Stiedae isolate, but there was no absolute protection recognized by the use of any of the three immunized methods.

The antibody titer appeared higher in rabbits immunized with virulent E.

stiedae sporulated oocysts than other groups.

Clinico-biochemical parameters,AST,ALT,GGT,ATP,TP,albumin and globulin were measured at different times post vaccination in each case.

The protective values of each immunized method were described.
