English Abstract

The ordinary techniques of teaching rely on some fixed principles that are claimed to be unsuitable for the new generations and the current technology development.

Actually, these principles do not make use of the huge development people live nowadays; these principles comprise class participation, demonstrations, recitations, memorization or all of them combined.

In addition, it is well-known that the choice of the suitable method to use depends on the skill that is being taught and, at the same time, it is very influenced by the aptitude and motivation of students.

Therefore, there is a wide convergence to using the new technologies in teaching all over the world in form of subject precise tutorials because they proved a huge difference in terms of students’ understanding of the material.

Unlike ordinary techniques that require attendance and having some information slipped when the student’s focus lessened, tutorials provide students with the ability to reuse them so as to fully grasp the studied material.

However, this approach of teaching is still lacking a technique that is developed specifically to fill such an important technique.

All what is done is adapting the existing information passing techniques so as to fill its requirements.

Though, these mechanisms have their own advantages and disadvantages regarding using them for tutoring purposes.

For example, text based document require some basic knowledge in terms of the language used and the jargon of the taught field.

Similarly, video tutorials are very heavyweight in terms of memory space and transmission over the internet.

Therefore, regarding the importance of this new education approach, there is a need to a new technology specially developed for tutoring.

This project proves the possibility of converging the adopted technique to create a new technique that dramatically reduces the downsides and combine the advantages of the existing techniques.

This approach is based on recording tutorials as a textual description of the steps made by the tutor and on the other side, in the tutored computer, performing automatically the same actions.

In fact this approach might be beneficial for even other purposes such as creating script based documentation of a developed application as well as providing remote technical support for unusual problems in the target personal computer.
