English Abstract

The financial sector in Morocco is having serious problems, especially with the financial crisis’ occurrence.

The banks are suffering from the shortage of liquidity since a small percentage of Moroccans deposit and invest their money in banks.

Also, even the clients who have already accounts do not use all the services offered by banks to further invest their money.

These observations can be explained by the fact that these people are financially illiterate.

They do not have enough knowledge about the several products that are offered by banks.

As a solution to this problem, our project has come up with a way to deal with the financial illiteracy problem.

It is a system that helps people gain knowledge about the main services within the Moroccan banks, and how they can benefit from them.

This system facilitates the learning process for the Moroccan users since it exempts them from initiating any action to get the financial literacy services.

This is because the right services pop up to the end users based on their preferences and context without any intervention from their side.

Accordingly, this solution will be implemented using the context awareness technology in order to facilitate the lives of end users.

Throughout this report, the need and the feasibility of the project will be proven along with the design, the architecture and a prototype of the financial literacy system
