English Abstract
Home networks have been moved lo a new revolutionary automated era.
The IPv6 implementation and the rapid growth of embedded systems help meet the challenges of Je^igning and building smart home automated networks.
These technologies provide new possibilities scenarios to implement a flexible and highly configurable home networks, rhey allow any device to be controlled from anywhere at anytime.
As a result, the Hectronic industries started embedding smart home networking capabilities into their lew modern coni>umerand industrial devices.
I he aim of (his project is to develop a smart control point for home networks.
The >ystem supports the Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) and XIO intelligent technologies, [t provides core features such as residents management, home virtual environment settings, jccess and privileges rights, events and conditions scheduling, and alerts notification with m enthusiastic web 2,0 graphical user interface.
Bosi practice design patterns and software architecture have been adopted to develop he sysiem.
This design guarantees scalability, portability, and maintainability.
A collection of lightweight open source frameworks such as Struts, Hibernate, Dojo and Quartz are used in harmonized fashion to produce high quality home control point jystem.
