Abstract EN

This study shهws the importance cf quantitative methcd to analyze the paved road network between governorate centers in Yemen, which represents connection nodes to the network.

The study display the variation effect of the ea^h's su^ace topography on the rate of road detour.

Despite the appropriate inter dependence degree of the network, it is not a complete network, In addition, it does not link some governorate centers nodes such as Al-Jawf, Sa'adah, and Al-Jabeen, which have just one direct link from the roads.

The study also demonstrates that the Al-Hodeidah is the most important node in the network, followed by the governorates centers of Dhamar, Sana،a, and Al-baida, The study also shows that the top of the accessibility indicators among all governorates are localized only to three Centers: Al-Hodeidah, Dhamar, and Sana'a.

This illustrates the importance of these cities to be taken into account during the preparation of road's projects and implementation of development plans in Yemen, especially Dhamar and Sana'a cities in the highlands, This help to avoid the risk of traffic accidents, prolong the duration of the trip, and deceleration of development projects.
