The antimicrobial activity of different extracts of Plectra thus tenuiflorus, on Gram +ve (Staphylococcus aurous) and Gram -ve (Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) bacteria, Candida albinos, Aspergillums fumigates, and A.

niger revealed that essential oil extract of the plant (85% thimble ) showed higher antimicrobial activity on all the tested organisms than pure thimble.
