Abstract AR

Abstract EN

The method of Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltammetry (DPASV) has been applied for trace analysis of Pb2+, Cd2+ and Cu2+ in agricultural soil.

Thin mercury film on glassy carbon (TMFGC) was used as the working electrode.

A computer controlled three electrode-electrochemical cell was used for control potential electrolysis.

Standard addition method was applied for concentration calibration.

The optimum pHs of the solutions of Pb2+, Cd2+ and Cu2+ to obtain reproducible results are 3.2, 4.6 and 3.6 respectively.

The results obtained in this study indicate that the method of DPASV can effectively be used for quantification of Pb2+, Cd2+ and Cu2+ in agricultural soil.
