Abstract EN

This study aims to investigate the effect of the teaching strategy of role-playing on the acquisition of Fiqh concepts by the eighth grade students in the Directorate of Education at Al Koura.

The sample of the study consisted of 60 students who were assigned two groups.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher prepared a multiple-choice test to find students' achievement on Fiqh concepts and a test to measure their performance.

The researcher also prepared plans for teaching the Fiqh unit which is included in the textbook of Islamic Education of the eighth grade according to the strategy of role-playing.

After conducting the appropriate statistical analysis, the study found the following: - There are statistically significant differences in the acquisition of eighth grade students the basic concepts of Fiqh, attributed to the method used in teaching, in favor of the experimental group that used the role-playing strategy.

- There are significant differences between the students' performance in the control and experimental groups, in favor of the experimental group, which confirms the effectiveness of using role-playing strategy.

- There is a strong correlation between the development of Fiqh concepts using role-playing strategy and their performance on some of the worships prescribed.
