This study aims to provide a suggested proposal to improve planning practices for post-basic Education school principals in the Sultanate of Oman.
The study showed a set of results, the most prominent of which is that the COefficiency of the principals’ planning practices in post basic education schools is moderate.
The results also indicated that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (a.
0.05) can be attributed to the effect of gender except academic planning and financial management and organization.
The differences were in favor of females.
The results also indicated that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (a.0.05).
This is attributed to the two variables of job designation and academic qualification.
The researchers recommend taking advantage of this concept to improve the effectiveness of planning practices undertaken by principals of post -basic education schools in the Sultanate of Oman taking into consideration the fact that no proposal was put forward to activate planning practices in the educational institutions in the Sultanate of Oman to date.
