Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the differences among the faculty members perceptions' towards formulating an Islamic educational philosophy to meet the challenges posed by the globalization era.

To achieve that, the researcher designed a questionnaire of (24) items on four dimensions.

A sample of (94) male and female faculty members were selected.

The results of the study showed an agreement among the sample study on all the reasons to formulate an Islamic educational philosophy to meet the challenges of the globalization era on one hand, and on the other hand the results showed the absence of statistically significant differences in the perceptions of the faculty members according to the ‘gender’ variable, while the results of the study showed differences in the perceptions of the sample towards the same reasons depending on the variable rank; academic between professor and assistant professor in favor of professor, and the absence of these differences between the assistant professor and the lecturer.

Also the results of the study showed differences between the specializations of education and psychology in favor of education.
