English Abstract

The main objective of this work is to build a test plan for an ATF (ATM To Frame Relay) interworking conversion devices.

If the device passes all checks then it is compliant with International Telecommunication Union (ITU-T) i^ernational standards and with the Frame Relay Forum (F^Fs) Implementation Agreements.

^oth ?ermanent ¥irtual Connection (PVC) and Switched Virtual Connection (SVC) connection ^es have been considered.

For ?VC connections.

Network (FRF.5/B-ICI) and Service (FRF.8/B-ICI) Interworking conversion methods have been checked.

For the FR side, the User to Network Interface (UNI) (FRF.1.^/^^^1/^^^^) and Network to Network Interface (NNI) (FRF.2.1/Q931/Q933) were included.

The SVC connection ^pe has been checked for t^e Service (FRF.18) interworking, and for the Frame Relay (FR) UNI (FRF.^/^93I/^933).

All planes (Control C-plane, User U-plane, and Management M-plane) were considered in the test plan
