English Abstract

This proلect aims to design and build a mobile e-government system for the ci^ of Ifrane through the use of PDAs.

This project will enhance the quali^ of governance for both government and citizens, and mitigate the digital divide problem in Morocco in the future.

The functionahties that have heen developed include: □ Designing an easy-to-use and multilingual graphical user interface (GUI) □ Enabling online transactions trough modern wireless technology; □ Assuring an acceptable level securi^ for n^ohile eGov users; These different functionalities are implemented through the use of computing devices including a PDA (iPAQ Pocket PC) as a wireless means to access Ifrane mobile e-government services using a Wi-Fi enabled access point device.

We will explain through this report the main functionalities needed and developed in the Ifrane mobile e-government system; in addition to justifications about the methodology, options, tools that were applied.
