English Abstract

The Moroccan educational system for primary and secondary schools covers most of the areas taught by other educational systems.

However, it is missing an important part which is technology.

Therefore, including information communication technologies into Moroccan education will increase its values and will allow Moroccan students to improve their IT skills.

The main motivation of this project is the use of technology in education and especially secondary public schools.

This document proposes the use of open source software to develop an Online Learning Content Management System.

The Content Management System is part of an e-learning project that will be generalized later on in Morocco.

The objective of the research part of the project is to explore the different platforms that exist to find the one that satisfies the requirements of students and teachers of secondary schools.

This document contains different chapters that enforce the transparency of the development cycle of the project.

It includes the analysis of the current IT situation in Morocco, the requirement elicitation, platforms’ comparison, Moodle functionalities, a project management plan, a risk management plan, software design document and a system evaluation.
