English Abstract

Usually, lack of security limit the success of a huge number of information systems.

Besides, cloud computing is a new technology that demonstrates great capabilities of solving a number of problems that almost all organizations suffer from.

However, ignoring the security aspect will lead cloud computing to be completely forgotten.

Hence, the present project proposes a simple and easy way to improve security features within a cloud environment such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.

Moreover, the introduction of the context manager entity, which represents an external source of information, contributes in improving the security features of the system.

In addition, an innovative approach to represent and check the validity of Service Level Agreement (SLA) is also proposed.

In fact, SLAs are written in the policy format and they are verified regularly to ensure the receptiveness of the contract that binds the client and the cloud provider.

Finally, the feasibility of the proposed approach is shown in a scenario happening at Al Akhawayn University which demonstrates different interactions between components that have been implemented.
