Arabic Abstract

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى توضيح العلاقة بين التطور المالي و النمو الاقتصادي الأردني خلال الفترة (2012-1980)، و اعتمدت الدراسة على نموذج قياسي تم بناؤه بناء على النظرية الاقتصادية و الدراسات السابقة و اشتمل النموذج على متغير الناتج المحلي الإجمالي كممثل للنمو الاقتصادي، و كذلك كل من : عرض النقد، و إجمالي الودائع، و إجمالي الائتمان، كمتغيرات مستقلة دالة على التطور المالي.

و استخدمت الدراسة منهجية التكامل المشترك لتوضيح العلاقة بين متغيرات النموذج في الأجل الطويل، كما تم تطبيق منهجية تصحيح الخطأ(VECM) و الاعتماد على نتائج الاختبار لبيان السببية بين المتغيرات في الأجل الطويل، و كذلك اختبار تحليل مكونات التباين و اختبار دالة الاستجابة لردة الفعل لتحقيق الأهداف المنشودة.

و أشارت نتائج الاختبارات إلى وجود علاقة تكاملية تصف تأثير التطور المالي على النمو الاقتصادي، حيث تبين أن متغير إجمالي الودائع صاحب التأثير الأكبر من بين جميع متغيرات الدراسة يليه متغير عرض النقد بالمفهوم الواسع، في حين كان أثر الائتمان المصرفي الممنوح للقطاع الخاص سلبيا على النشاط الاقتصادي.

هناك علاقة سببية من المتغيرات المستقلة إلى المتغير التابع أي تحقق نظرية قيادة العرض في الأجل الطويل.

English Abstract

This study aimed to clarify the relationship between financial development and the Jordanian economic growth during the period (1980-2012).

The study depended on the standard model that has been created on the basis of economic theory and previous studies.

This model has included a form of the variable gross domestic product ( GDP ) ,as a representative of economic growth, as well as the money supply , total deposits, and gross credit, as independent variables that indicate to the financial development.

The study used the co-integration methodology to clarify the relationship between the variables of the model in the long term that has been the error correction as an application of the methodology( VEMC ), which rely on the test results to demonstrate the causality between variables in the long term, as well as , the test analysis of the variation components and the test of response function for the reaction were used to achieve the desired goals.

The results of the tests indicated to the presence of a complementary relationship that describes the effect of financial development on economic growth, it was found that the total deposits variable has greatest influence of all the variables of the study that followed by the money supply variable in the broad concept , while the impact of extended bank credit to the private sector was negatively on economic activity.

There is a causal relationship of the independent variables to the dependent variable to check the theory of leadership supply in the long term.
