Abstract EN

This paper discusses destruction of the metaphysics from Nietzsche's point of view by using genealogical method.

The main objective of such method is to view metaphysics as a deterioration of true philosophical soul.

Since the destruction aims at destroy, the genealogical destruction means that the metaphysical principles, which the ontological and aesthetic system of philosophical thought based upon, must be destroyed.

Therefore, the genealogical destruction aims at destroying the Platonic metaphysics; in other words, since the traditional Western thought is historically based upon Platonic metaphysics that means the central concepts and categories of such thinking must be necessarily destroyed.

Accordingly, this paper highlights two essential points; the first one, is related to the importance of genealogical destruction as a critical method, and the second one is related to the feasibility of such method when dealing with the Western heritage.
