English Abstract
Risk management is a very significant topic in various organizations as it aids them in discovering any probable failure that may be the reason of destroying the whole organization.
Trading in the communication sector generally and mobile sector specifically require effective planning of risk management since it has some risks and challenges that developed and changed every day.
This thesis aims to explain the most important factors needed for effective risk management in communication companies in Jordan.
In order to achieve this aim, the researcher used mixed methodological approach to collect the required data.
For the numerical data, the quantitative methodological approach was used by distributing a questionnaire to collect the required data from a sample selected randomly from the employees of the major mobile companies in Jordan (Zain, Orange, and Umniah).
For the narrative data, the qualitative methodological approach was used by making many interviews with employees from the major mobile companies in Jordan.
The results of this study showed that there are seven factors can be used as a base to achieve efficient risk management in these companies; which are: communication, trust, top management support, information technology, training, company structure, and culture.
The results also revealed that the risk management plays a significant role in achieving the goals of any business in addition to the contribution of achieving the competitive advantage in the market.
So, organizations have to pay more attention to these factors in order to achieve effective risk management.
