Abstract EN

This research studies the relationship between the non-oil exports and economic growth in Algeria during the period 1970-2010 and this in conjunction with the Moroccan experience.

For this, there was an estimation of an econometric model it contains three variables, gross domestic product, which represents the economic growth, a non-oil exports variable and domestic investment, using two methods, one old and the other modern, which depends on the stationary of time-series and co-integration, and error correction model.

The study has showed the existence of a relationship between domestic investment and economic growth, as well as its inexistence between non-oil exports and economic growth, and the absence of any long-term relationship between levels of economic growth and non-oil exports and domestic investment in Algeria, unlike Morocco.
