HYPACK® system is one of the most modern hydrographic systems.

The current research represents the first application of this system in all Iraq, and at the same time, it is the first experiment of depths measurement done by SB echo sounding technique on Dukan Lake.

HYPACK provides hydrographic surveyors with all of the tools that needed to: design their survey, collect the data, process and reduce them, and generating the final products.

The research focusing upon extraction the TIN model for a part of Dukan Lake in both 2D and 3D forms, and the contour bathymetric map for the surveyed area as well.
