Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the level of academic boredom among students of faculty of educational science at the Al Al Bayt University.

In addition to reveal the statistically significant differences on the academic boredom level due to gender، and study level variables were investigted.

In order to achieve the study's objectives a questionnaire was developed which has (31) item distributed over three domains: After the questionnaire reliability and consistency are obtained، it was distributed over a sample of (258) male and female students, chosen via random sampling approach The results of the study indicated that the level of boredom of the students' at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Al al-Bayt University was generally moderate.

The fields came asfollows: Evaluation was the first at a high level، and curriculum came in second place and the level was medium، and the field of teaching methods came in third and medium level Furthermore, results revealed the presence of statistically significant differences due to gender variable in favor of female student.

differences also revealed that due to the study's level variable and in favor of 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students when compared with 1st year students.

Based upon these results، the study provided a set of recommendation such as; revise the content of curriculum in universities and students evaluation mechanism، and to have various instructional approaches in order to reduce the academic boredom of university students.
