Abstract EN

This study deals with the activation of the Syrian Arab Woman's participation in the process of comprehensive development in society, due to the necessity of making use of the human resources (women & men) equally in the development of society.

The study tackles two fundamental aspects: * The first aspect concentrates on the difficulties that obstruct the activation of the woman's participation in the economic, social, political, intellectual & educational activities in society in addition to other activities that contribute to the upgrading of society, such as cultural & social difficulties, vocational qualification & scientific background difficulties, along with the difficulties of merging the woman in the labormarket and her low share of participation in responsibility & decision taking positions.

Finally the special difficulties in discrimination between men and women in terms of rights & duties.
