Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the reality of the geographical distribution of religious services in the city Diwaniyah, and determine their adequacy and efficiency of the functional, and adopted the study approach Descriptive and quantitative analytical method to be used by the Applied contemporary style which Relied on the application of GIS technology (GIS), as well as the use of some Statistical methods such as correlation and regression coefficient Allkhti.

The study found that there are deficiencies and clear defect in the spatial distribution of Religious Services In the city of Diwaniya, what made the distribution pattern takes convergent pattern, which is heading towards Random, as the value of (R) calculated (0.91).

Study also showed a decline in the share Worshiper of the area houses of worship throughout the city, as it averaged year (0.25 m2).
