Abstract EN

This research discusses the assumptions proposed by al-Zajjaj regarding a number of possible Views of Case on the Holy Qur'an, which were not used by the Qur'an Reciters.

The current research tries to show the semantic differences between these assumptions and the received readings.

It, also, tries to consider these assumptions from a syntactic perspective.

The research is organized as follows.

It starts with a brief introduction to this phenomenon, and the reasons behind it.

Then, it explains how al-Zajjaj dealt with this phenomenon, considering the method that he used.

Having done that, the research investigates these number of possible Views of Case.

Finally, the research concludes by mentioning the most important results.

One of the most prominent result is that the firmed reading is superior to the proposed view semantically, although, in many cases, they are syntactically equal, because the firmed reading contains unnoticeable addition, or further emphasis which is not contained in the proposed view.
