he study aimed at discovering the extent of inclusion of tourism values in the textbooks of social studies of the three upper grades of the primary stage.

To achieve this goal, a list of tourism values that should be clear in these books was prepared.

They are 40 values of tourism and they are divided under five categories: - Religious values of tourism - Economical values of tourism - Social values of tourism - Cultural values of tourism - Political Values of Tourism The researcher made sure of the differences of values presented in the sample books of the different three grades.

Results of the study referred to the following: There is a disparity in the distribution of tourism values in the books of the upper three grades of the primary stage.

This is due to the nature of subjects presented in the syllabus of Social and National Studies in the primary stage.

The researcher attributed this disparity to the absence of coordination between Ministry of Education and The General Organization of Tourism and Monuments while preparing and developing the syllabus.

The results of the availability of the values of tourism in upper three years of the primary stage are different.

This is true when applying each of the categories in all grades.

The order of the books of social studies of the upper three years of the primary stage is as follows: The sixth grade – The fifth grade – The Fourth grade.

This difference can be attributed to the experience of those who wrote the books of the syllabus and that they graduated the inclusion of the values in the books.

It was also clear that there were no decided ratio for every value and that succession and integration between these values were not taken into consideration while writing these books.
