Abstract AR

This research aimed at identifying the impact of a proposed training program for graduate students at King Khalid University on developing some research skills.

To achieve this aim a questionnaire to determine the research skills the graduate students at the University of King Khalid need was administered to a sample of 64 students; and accordingly a training program was constructed .

The proposed training program was administered to a sample of 24 students selected from among graduate students.

At the end the program training sessions, a questionnaire that measures the trainees progress and benefits was administered as a post test.

Results revealed that the percentage of trainees progress and benefits was 94% ; which confirms the effectiveness of the training program in achieving the desired objectives .

Recommendations and suggestions were also presented.
