The purpose of this study was to define the degree of the participation of classroom student teacher trainees in public and private schools in Jordan in school decision-making.

The study sample consisted of (140) students from classroom student teacher specialization at the University of Jordan, who were trained in public and private schools in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for the academic year 2008/2009.

The sample was chosen study purposefully.

For the purpose of achieving the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire to measure the level of the participation of the classroom student teacher in the school decision-making.

The results showed the following: the results of the study showed that the degree of the participation of the classroom student teacher trainees in school decision-making was moderate from their point of view.

Where the participation domain in decisions related to students ranked first, followed by the field to participate in decisions concerning teachers, then the of participation in decisions regarding the local community, and then of participation in decisions regarding curriculum, and finally the area to participate in decisions relating to management audit and financial matters.

The results showed no statistically significant differences in the degree of participation of classroom students teacher in school decision-making from the point of view of students due to the variable of the type of school.

In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the following recommendations: adoption of effective mechanisms in the Ministry of Education and practical education program at the University of Jordan to work to improve the participation of students grade teacher trainees in school decision-making.
