Abstract EN

This study discusses the metafiction phenomenon which considers writing as its major issue: defining it self through story telling in a way that breaks illusion through reality and weaken the methods of traditional costructions in both pattern and content.

The study reassures the uniqueness of the metafictional novel through the following works of the Egyptian novelist "yousif al qaied" "Alharb Fi Bar Misr”, "Yahduth Fi Misr Alaan", and the tri-series "Shakawa Almasri Alfaseeh”.

These works evoke, with intended self-consciousness, their own worlds through the act of factual writing it self.

After indulging the auther's and the text world, the study concluded that the plots of the Qaidi novels depend mainly on various experimental techniques that rely on imagination and formation during the shaping of the text it self, such as the varied-sounds Polivoni narration.

In addition to that, they employ the game of the narrated-narrator in the argument between the text and the fiction, and they recall the reader as a productive element in the text creation, as a pre-critical element and as a plot scanner who finds similarities between reality and imagination.

The text is regarded as an imagenary, independent world that goes side by side with the real world and has its own voice and its own unique presentation style.
