Investment in the agricultural sector is one of the new trends for the world's economies of both developed and developing countries due to its impact on achieving the economic and social development goals and its contribution to improving living conditions and fight against forms of poverty and achieve a standard of living, which urges countries to focus on the agricultural sector through there Sectoral habilitation.

The Purpose of This research paper is to emphasize on the importance of investment in the agricultural sector and its impact on the achievement of sustainable development in order to reach an efficient use of resources for sustainable agriculture and its contribution to achieving political dimensions which agricultural investment aspires to ensure food security and reduce poverty rates, This is one of the dimensions of sustainable development.

This study has been on the Algerian agricultural sector by using regression and causality models to determine the contribution and the impact of the added value of the agricultural sector through investment on the sustainable development.
