Abstract EN

Islamic scholars have vigorously studied the various Quranic recitations whether they are regular or abnormal.

The purpose of this paper is to study one of those anomalous Quranic recitations, Yazid Bin Qutib, which had been documented by Bin Eljazari.

Following the descriptive and analytical method, the study will address the phonetics and semantics issues in this recitation by going to its roots and main sources.

The study consists of an introduction where the biography of Bin Qutib will be discussed.

There will be two parts of the study: phonological that deals with the substitution between voiced and voiceless sounds in this recitation, and semantics that deals with the lingual and semantic differences in it.

At the end, there will be a conclusion where it sums up the main findings of the paper.
