Abstract EN

This research describes and analyses the economic corruption and its impact on economic performance in Sudan, indicating the concept of economic corruption, and explaining the causes and types, and analyzing its economic performance on the Sudan.

The most important findings are the spread of the phenomenon of economic corruption in Sudan, led to an increase of unemployment and poverty.

The results also showed that the method of political compromises and courtesy with the rebellions who could threaten the national security of the regime led to the political instability and the flight of foreign investment to the outside Sudan, which have a negative impact on the balance payments.

The results also revealed that the focus on spending on sectors that guarantee the continuation of power and influence and the neglect of spending on the agricultural sector, Sudan will lose the advantage of presence and competition in the foreign markets.

The recommendations included the necessity to employ the idle energies and to work to stop the method of political courtesy with the militants , and applying decisive and deterrent methods with them.

The focus also should be on spending on agricultural sector to get back Sudan to appear and compete in the foreign markets.
