تسعى هذه الدراسة للتعرف على المقصود بمصطلح الأمن الفكري، و تعرف أهميته و ضوابطه.
كما أنها تسلط الضوء على الجامعة كواحدة من أبرز المؤسسات التربوية في المجتمع المعاصر من خلال بيان أهميتها، و تعرف وظائفها المتنوعة في المجتمع، ثم تقديم بعض الرؤى حول الدور المأمول من الجامعة كواحدة من أبرز المؤسسات التربوية المجتمعية التي تحتضن الشباب و هم في أخطر المراحل العمرية التي يحتاجون خلالها إلى استيعاب مفهوم الأمن الفكري، و من ثم العمل على تحويله من مجرد مفهوم نظري إلى واقع تطبيقي، و سلوك عملي يعيشه الجميع، و ينعمون به في مجتمعهم انطلاقا من كون خدمة المجتمع إحدى أهم وظائف الجامعة الرئيسة.
و قد حرصت الدراسة على طرح تصور عام للدور الذي يمكن للجامعة أن تقوم به في سبيل تحقيق الأمن الفكري من خلال تسليط الضوء على مجموعة الأدوار التي يمكن أن تقوم بها العناصر الأساسية في منظومة التعليم الجامعي، و التي تتمثل فيما يلي : الأستاذ الجامعي. .

الأنشطة الطلابية الجامعية. و جاءت خاتمة الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات ذات العلاقة بالموضوع.
Abstract EN
This study identifis what is meant by intelectual security as well as its significanee and limitations.The various roles of ١١٨^«-rsities are also idcntied as one of the most important educational institutions.
This study also presents visions for the anticipated role ofunivcrsities as an institution that shape the life ofyouth in their most delicate years when they want to absorbe the concept of intclcctual and acadcmic freedom, and then transform it to reality and practical behaviour, sfadent would enjoy practicing it as community se-rvice is considered to be one of the most important fonction for universities.
This study tries to^c^sageneralprcciption to the role universities can play in attaining intelectual security through discussing the different roles ofhigher education institations including; ٠ Academic staff ٠ Curriculum ٠ University students • Student activities The study at the end provided a list of recommendations relative to the subject
