English Abstract
In this thesis, a great focus has been put on analytical modeling of Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel, as well as t Fiber channel presented by the Graded-Index Multimode Fiber Link (GI-MMF) for the simulation of the system deploying Coded CDMA.
A performance evaluation of the CDMA system over an AWGN when incorporating the Convolutional Encoder/Viterbi Decoder is presented, to illustrate the primary purpose of using Forward Error Correction (FEC) in improving the channel capacity and reliability of telecommunication systems.
The performance analyses based on Bit-Error-Rate Ratio (BER) are extensively investigated over single, two and three users.
In addition, the effect of the number of users on the BER performance of the coded CDMA system is presented and compared.
The principle of correlation is introduced, and the ability of the detection of each user assigned with a unique code is tested.
A BER performance evaluation of the GI-MMF using Coded CDMA under the effect of the fiber length is presented.
Moreover, the impact of the exponent refractive index of the GI-MMF on the BER of Coded CDMA is studied.
Finally, the main target of our investigation purpose has been reached with a successful results where the proposed system functionality is excellent.
