Abstract EN

The phonetic confusion between the letters "DHAD" and "DHAA" in Arabic language, is a historical linguistic issue,raised from the ancient and had been developed according to specific phases, till it became an imposed linguistic fact.

There were different attempt to limit the problematic and suggest solutions nevertheless it has been characterized by insufficiency and inaccuracy.

This article details theses points and concludes them with suggested recommendations to solve the problematic.
