Abstract EN

The research deals with the Tranian Islamic revolution in 1979 ,and its impact on the change of American policies orientations towards Iran from and the region ,which result the transformation of Iran from being a strategic ally of the United States and the westren Union before the Islamic revolution to a hostile state after the revolution .Also the research include the United States' policy before the revolution and beyond, and its attempts to survival of the Shah's regime and why has failed in this endeavor ? The research also tries to answer several questions; is the US policy in transforming the Shah's regime to a strategic ally of the United States has an impact on the revolution? and to what extent the impact of this policy on the strength of the revolution and its continuity, and failure in reducing and escalating it ?.Did the US policy admitted in the new reality imposed by the revolution which is the end of the Shah and his power forever?
