تتناول هذه الدراسة موضوع بدايات النشاط الأمريكي الفعلي في الخليج العربي و تحديدا في البحرين منذ بداياتها في 1893 و لغاية عام 1990، لما يشكله الموضوع من أهمية خاصة في موقع البحرين الاستراتيجي.
و لكون البحرين قاعدة عسكرية مهمة للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط تحافظ من خلالها على مصالحها الاقتصادية في البحرين و المنطقة عموما خاصة بعد اكتشاف النفط و تراجع الدور البريطاني في المنطقة بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية.
Abstract EN
This study deals with the actual beginnings of the American activity in Arab Gulf regin and Bahrain in particular since its establishment in 1893 until 1990.This subject of great impotance to the strategic position of Bahrain as important American military base in Middle east .Also it refects the American economical advantages in Bahrain in and in and in particular calar and in the whole area in general , especially after discovering oil and regress of British role in the area after world war II
