Abstract EN

This study aims at knowing the effect of using Social networking upon social relationships among university youth through investigating the opinions of a random sample of (325) Young at the city of El Tarf.

The study shows that the effect of Social networking upon social relationships increases when Young use the social networking individually and when they increase the number of hours.

Also, the results show that the Social networking has been used mostly for scientific and research purposes and on campus.

Furthermore, the results show an existing influence to the use of Social networking upon social relationships taking into consideration qualitative variables such as sex, age, level of study and the monthly income of the families of the Young being asked; this is shown by the value of (F) with a statistical significance of ≥ 0.05.

This study suggests a number of recommendations
