The present study tried to explore the relationship between self-efficacy, motivation, and academic performance of under؛؟raduate students from the Faculty of Education at Taiz University in Yemen.

A questionnaire of 18 items was applied to a sample of 407 students.

Results showed that there are statistically positive correlations between self-efficacy and both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and self-efficacy and performance, Also, there are statistically positive correlations between intrinsic motivation and performance, and extrinsic motivation and performance.

In addition, results revealed that students high in self-effieacy and motivation performed better than those low in se}f-effieacy and motivation.

Finally, suggestions and recommendations for future research on the basis of the current results were discussed.
