Abstract EN

This study is an attempt to discover the critical thought of Muslim commentators b}' discussing the opinions of some commentators regarding their interpretation of verses ofthe Quran that talk about the Christian doctrine of tire Trinity .

the commentators chosen are of Fakhr ai-Din al-Razi , Mohamed Tahar Ben Achour , and Sayyid Qutb, who are from difference eras and backgrounds , in order to find out methodoJogi£al rules used by them to respond to this creed of Trinity while commentating on the Quran.

In order to accompiish this search , 1 have divided it introduction, three sections and a conclusion.

The introduction addressed the doctrine of the Trini^' , its meaning, roots, and its evolution.

The first section dealt with Fakhr al-Din al-Razi; summary of his life, his approach in responding to the Christian beliefs, and the rules of his approach.

The second section dealt with Mohamed Tahar Ben Achour; sumniaiy of his life, his approach, and the rules of his approach in response to the Christians.

The third section dealt with Sayyid Qutb; summary of his life, his approach, and the rules of Iris approach; then the ccnclusion and the bibliography ofthe study
