This research deals with the patterns of (the narrator) as a structural component in the narrative text, and a cornerstone in providing the tale material.

The research focuses on the characteristics of the narrator, Iris engagement, positions, depending, in the theorizing side, on what is provided by tlie tongue utterance and communication in the modern narrating field, regarding the parties of speech directed by a sender aimed at affecting on the future ofthe message.

The research ta^es the text of the novel: (ViaJ) to the Saudi narrator Yousef Mohainieed as an application scope.

For studying the patterns ofthe narrator, the research overrides the social treatment handled by the noveJ.

Also, it does not.pay attention 0آ the ideological rhetoric, hut he deals with the narrator as being an imaginary character or as a man on paper only who does not have any relation with the realistic character ofthe author but in the imaginary formications level.
